Staying at santa maria was a pleasant surprise during my city holiday. The lovely patio and spacious pool exceeded my expectations and were perfect. The hotel also had an excellent location.

Excellent location close to downtown and within walking distance to key sites made exploring easy. The clean rooms were complemented by friendly staff who quickly provided a hairdryer and electrical extension. A refreshing pool was perfect for cooling off after a day in the heat, and delicious homemade cakes added a good touch to the stay. The Wi-Fi connection was spotty, only reliable in the lobby, and some communal areas could feel crowded at times.

It was just a strong match for a break on my long journey in Merida with reasonable value. The staff were friendly and helped me book a fantastic tour to the Mayapan ruins, a highlight of my stay. Parking can be tricky. Arrive early to snag a spot if you plan on driving.
